The TCLC Way
Over the years, we continue to improve and enhance our curriculum so that your child’s formative period is filled with meaningful experiences that shall prepare him/her become the finest person he/she can be in the future.
As “character maketh a person,” the curriculum emphasizes, not only in intellectual development but character formation as well. The teachers and together with the teacher-aides, take effort and patience to make a child understand why something are the way they are and why certain attitudes are more desirable than others.
We believe that preschool formation is based on love, acceptance and understanding. There are no barriers to understanding and responding to the children.
At this formative time, more than at any other time in a child’s life, the teacher s give careful consideration to all that is done for the child. We see to it that we give the children the correct information, discipline them with compassion and explain to them complex things to their level of understanding.
We also respond to the children not only in terms of age, level, and developmental stage, but also in terms of their economic, cultural and spiritual backgrounds.
We believe that a child’s experiences at home are an integral part of his/her growth. At TCLC, parents and teachers work hand in hand to advance the child’s mental, emotional and moral development.
